Hi, I’m Caiius (they/them)

As a Five Element Acupuncturist, I invite authenticity and aim to support what matters most to each of my patients. Through inquiry, observation, and deep listening, my approach traces the root cause of a given ailment and uses the least amount of stimulation to invite the greatest transformation. I work in alliance with the elemental movements of life, the building blocks of nature, supporting a systemic return to the source where health and wellness flow.

I studied Environmental Science in undergrad, and have practiced sustainable agriculture and herbal medicine in central Vermont for over a decade. My understanding of ecology has prepared me as a practitioner of Chinese Medicine to view and interact with each patient as a complex ecosystem.

I hold a Masters of Acupuncture, graduating from the Academy of Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, FL. I am Board Certified via the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and licensed in Vermont and New Hampshire. I study with the Virtue of Heaven/Earth, a school dedicated the ongoing training of acupuncturists.

Virtue of Heaven/Earth

I have been a student of the Virtue of Heaven/Earth since 2019. This is an advanced study and clinical training for practitioners who are dedicated to reaching the root of life in their patients. Teaching clinics meet twice a year in Montpelier to assist practitioners to better serve their patients in these times. Practitioners of the school bring their patients who have difficult-to-treat or seemingly non-responsive conditions.

The Intensives are a clinical training program of The Unseen Hand: Medicine from Antiquity, a nonprofit organization built to house and teach an ancient alchemical traditions of Light. Taoist Five Element Acupuncture, as a tradition, has been nurtured and grown through the centuries in the living relationships between teachers and students. Clinical Intensives are for the hands-on training of practitioners through the oral transmission of this tradition. They are a place for deep care for patients.
